The Training & Placement Cell of Jayarani College, Salem, organized a one-day seminar on Personality Development and Women Empowerment on 25th January 2025. The event, which started at 10:00 a.m., was tailored for first and second-year students from all streams. The seminar featured two impactful sessions led by the esteemed resource person, Dr. A. Leostandly, Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Chemistry, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Trichy. The first session focused on Life Skills for Personality Development. Dr. Leostandly emphasized the importance of self-awareness, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills to build a strong and confident personality. The second session, Role of Cosmetics in Women Personality, explored the cultural and professional aspects of grooming and appearance, highlighting how it contributes to self-confidence and empowerment. The students actively engaged in discussions, gaining valuable insights into building their personalities and breaking societal barriers. The event concluded with positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the practical advice and motivational insights shared by the speaker.
