Distinguished Guests Who Graced the Occasion Chief Guest: Rtn. Dinesh Gunasekaran, President of the Rotary Club of Salem Junction Guest of Honour: Rtn. P. Jagadessh, Regional Coordinator The festivities commenced with an eloquent welcome address delivered by Dr. U. Sumathi, whose heartfelt words set the tone for the day. The unfurling of the tricolor, a vivid emblem of liberty and unity, was accompanied by the resonant strains of the National Anthem, evoking profound patriotic fervor among all present. The event opened with the soulful rendition of the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, a homage to the vibrant cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu. Divya of II B.Com captivated the audience with an impassioned Tamil oration, reflecting on the nation’s rich legacy, resilience, and progress. Geetha Priya of II B.Com delivered an eloquent English speech, masterfully articulating the foundational values of freedom, democracy, and unity that define our national ethos. The ceremony drew to a close with a moving vote of thanks by Lalithambigai of II B.Com.
